Önling No 15 is a classic merino yarn, soft, light and pleasant to the skin. The yarn is round-spun, slightly elastic and less long-haired than other merino types. As a bonus, the yarn is machine washable - thanks to a special treatment without harsh chemicals.

In connection with dyeing, this yarn has been given a gentle non-superwash treatment with sodium, which means that the yarn does not change structure or fullness with gentle machine washing. This is an eco-friendly alternative to the superwash treatment, which removes the natural shells from the wool fibers with an acid and chlorine bath, after which a kind of plastic coating is added to the surface of the yarn;

As a rule of thumb, you can expect to use the following amounts of No 15 for a sweater with a regular fit. We recommend you buy an extra ball, just to be on the safe side - you can always return yarn to Önling if you have bought too much (and if label is unbroken):

XS-S = 400 gr
